My iOS Shortcuts

🚀 I use iOS Shortcuts App daily. 🧠 Here are my use cases : 🔄️ Automation / Focus mode : - Focus mode (Home, Evening, Work, Outdoor, Morning & Sleep) - Start my robot vacuum 🤙 General : - Call my favorite contacts - Send iMessages at my favorite contacts - Send iMessage when I arrive at work - Play favorites playlist on Apple music - Open Translate App 🔧 Utilities : - Apps update (redirecting in updates page App Store) - Unchecked reminders automatically - Summary an article with Chat-GPT (thx @gobino !) 📲 The last picture shows my automatings in Shortcuts App (2nd tab). ➡️ Some shortcuts are available on my ShareShortcuts profile : https://shareshortcuts.com/u/flob/ 💬 Comment if you have questions 😉 #apple #apps #shortcuts #iOS #Routines #FocusMode #Automation #iPhone #AI #ChatGPT

I liked the ai summary shortcut. I’ve added some updates if anyone else would find it useful https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/39b1d7b2e70f46c993655985a1594dd0 I made it so you can share from any app that provides a url, not just from safari, and updated the prompt and results display format it.

I have struggled to start to use shortcuts, I just can’t see how it will make anything go faster unless it’s a few things I want to happen at the same time. Am I missing something ?

So far the only use I seem to make work for me is to have two apps open at the same time on the iPad and MacBook. But on the iPhone I just don’t know how it will make anything into a faster work flow. I also try to stick to the native apps, so I kinda just find it easy to click on the app I want and work on that. But I’m always looking for some new ways to make the native apps better 😅

Shortcuts are used in particular to me to perform a set of actions to save time. I also use it to switch from one focus mode to another depending on a particular situation (sending a message for example) 😉 But there are many other possibilities that you have not yet imagined 😅

Doesn’t work for me I think no it doesn’t default to chatGPT-4? I am a paid user.

Try changing the shortcut by setting GPT-4 instead of GPT-3.5 (Step 5)
