Weekend Projects
nashp.com/mc There was a bunch of little tasks scattered throughout my Things system. As I was doing a weekly review, I decided to batch these small tasks together into one place, called Weekend Projects. I used headers to separate handfuls of them into different categories. I was left with thirty lingering tasks, now brought into one project. Some of these tasks have been stagnant for months. Giving them a purpose (to be worked on during my off days) motivated me to complete twenty three of them in just two days. Best of all, the rest of my Things system is much tidier now because of this. And the thought of lingering tasks is completely gone. Because they’re not for now anymore. They’re for the weekend. #minimal #apps #iphone #productivity #simple #system #things #taskmanager #projects #gtd #gettingthingsdone #weekend #newsletter #website

It’s killing me how, people are posting their personal blog posts here. Like, dude, you clearing your Things list is not anything important to anyone but you.

You didn't have to read it or comment. Literally.

The title didn’t allude to it being a personal blog post about his day clearing his Things list. I went to the page, started reading, then realized that it was the posters fucking journal entry.

I’ve been writing on Artifact since they started allowing these posts. Each of my post follows the same format of being a little section from my previous or upcoming nashp.com newsletter. And each time I post, I gain new followers and subscribers, and new private messages from people wanting more help or tips on the topics I cover. Even the team at Artifact has reached out privately and said they enjoy what I’m doing. Just because it’s not for you doesn’t mean it’s wrong. Just means it’s not for you. That’s the beauty of social networks. I hope you find peace in life with the things you don’t agree with.

I don't have a Things list. I'm I'm living on the edge through yours. Thank you.
