I left a long while ago. It has basically become Elon's personal $40 billion subreddit to make him giggle and stroke his ego. And showed us all his true colors. He went from admired engineer to supporter of far right white supremacists.

Yes but this why trump still has a grip on US politics. He realized a long time ago that being a train wreck was a tremendously good way to get free air time. The same thing happens with Elon. Every time he has another unbelievably shitty thought we have to write another article about him. If we could somehow look away from the thought train wreck, he’d have altogether a lot less undeserved influence on the world.

I do completely agree with this. The problem being, we love entertainment and drama. Can hardly fault people for being bombarded by the media with all the stupidity around us.
