Around 500,000 people have been rejected from the $725 million Facebook privacy settlement, but they have the opportunity to appeal if their claims were flagged as fraudulent. The settlement fund administrator, Angeion, has validated about 17 million claims so far and is working through the remaining applications. To appeal a rejection, recipients must fill out a form online within 10 days of receiving the rejection email.
