I added this book, also available in Italy on Amazon |English edition| in both e-book and hardcover formats (see screenshot from Amazon It) to my list ๐Ÿ“of #books to read on the topic of #cosmetics in history. Actually this book, written by a Renaissance historian, to be precise: *Professor of Renaissance Visual and Material Cultures at the Edinburgh College of Art* JILL BURKE "also celebrates the contributions of women who broke the boundaries of gender norms by experimenting in alchemy, chemistry and botany including Caterina Sforza, styled as both the Countess of Forli and Lady of Imola." Promising! currently even the e-book format is not super cheap. I added screenshots from some websites without paywall that mention the book because I don't think it's still possible to post more than one link
