Berndnaut Smilde creates temporary cloud sculptures that hang indoors for less than ten seconds before being photographed. The ongoing Nimbus series explores questions of time, boundaries, and perception through denser and larger cloud sculptures. Smilde's work can be seen in a group show in Germany and he is currently working on a piece for a hotel in Amsterdam.
