Microsoft plans to unify its planning tools, including Microsoft To Do, Microsoft Planner, and Microsoft Project, into a new experience called Microsoft Planner, which will be available in Microsoft Teams starting in spring 2024. Tasks by Planner and the To Do app in Microsoft Teams will be renamed to Planner, while the renaming of Microsoft Project for the web will happen in the coming months. The new Microsoft Planner will include an AI copilot to help users plan tasks faster and suggest new tasks, aiming to provide a cohesive experience from individual task management to project management.
