Microsoft and Google are partnering with Onehouse to support the OneTable project, an open-source solution for data lake challenges. The project aims to create a new layer on top of existing data lake table formats, enabling omni-directional conversions and access across multiple technologies. The goal is to promote interoperability and eliminate vendor lock-in, allowing customers to freely choose the best data lake solution for their needs.
