Israeli bombardment in southern Gaza, where Palestinians were told to evacuate to, has killed thousands of civilians. Airstrikes and artillery fire, occurring in the areas Israel claims are "safer" for civilians, have hit schools, residential towers, and UN refugee shelters. Evacuation areas are heavily bombarded and in a dire humanitarian crisis, with limited access to food and clean water. *I have never seen a more viciously duplicitous thing in my life than this. Clearly the intention has always been to kill as many civilians as possible. It's so surreal too, what's happening. Almost desensitising even. Especially the wanton deaths of babies, on all sides. Babies that represent life and the future and growth and innocence. I really have no words to describe it all. I pray a solution and peace come soon.
