Rocket Lab will launch a hypersonic test vehicle for Australian company Hypersonix as part of a US military project in 2025. The launch will take place from Rocket Lab's Launch Complex 2 in Virginia and will demonstrate the capabilities of the suborbital rocket named HASTE. The mission is funded by the US Defense Department's Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) as part of their high-cadence testing capabilities project.
