Dozens of critically ill premature babies from al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza were evacuated to hospitals in southern Gaza. Israeli forces raided al-Shifa Hospital, leaving it short of fuel and medical supplies, prompting the evacuation of 31 premature babies along with doctors and nurses. Coordination with the World Health Organization and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs facilitated the transfer of the babies to southern Gaza hospitals, with plans for them to eventually enter Egypt.
