19dBuild a Web App in less than 5 minutes without code.
There are a ton of people out there looking to build Web Apps, but you might be asking what is a Web App?
A Web App is a website that is essentially a website with more complex features like Authentication, User Profiles, etc. It’s not exactly a mobile app but it has the functionality of a mobile app but instead it lives on the Web. Web Apps are a great alternative to creating a mobile app because it’s cheaper and easier to onboard new users since they don’t have to download an app. The negatives are that you can’t send notifications to a web app and in my opinion nothing beats a mobile app when it comes to performance.
Now that you know what a Web App lets dive into how you can build one in less than 5 minutes without having to write a single line of code.
To start, many of you I’m sure have heard of No Code tools. I’m a huge fan of No Code because I started out as a Designer who didn’t know how to code but always had ideas that I wanted to build. No Code platforms allowed me to do this, some of my favorites are Framer, Webflow, Bubble & Adalo.
The issue my two favorite no code platforms, Framer & Webflow restrict you when it comes to building Web Apps, understandably so because they’re money maker is making it easy for builders to build Landing Pages / Basic Websites with no code.
This is great but I wanted to help take this a step further and that’s why I started building a product called stackFrame.
stackFrame is tool that plugs seamlessly into a Framer Website, so if you’re already building websites in Framer you can now use stackFrame to transform those Framer Websites into full blown Web Apps.
Here’s the best part.
With stackFrame you can add things like:
✅ Authentication
✅ User Profiles
✅ Newsfeeds (Display User Posts)
✅ User Posts (Post on a Newsfeed)
All you have to do is drag and drop the feature you want to add to your Framer Website, paste the stackFrame Project ID into the stackFrame component and BOOM, stackFrame handles the functionality for you. You can even customize the look of the components to match your Products Design.
Now you don’t have to know how to code to build a Web App like Twitter, Pinterest, etc all you need to do is drag in the stackFrame components you want to use and it will atomically transform you Framer Website into a Web App.
My goal with stackFrame is to allow non-technical people have the freedom to build their own product ideas.
I’m currently still developing stackFrame but plan to launch it in the next 30 days. If this is something you might be interested in using you can subscribe to our Newsletter to get early access.
